Terms of Service for CalTrek

Please read these Terms of Service ("Terms") carefully before using the CalTrek mobile application (the "App") operated by us.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you disagree with any part of the terms, then you may not access the App.

2. Use of the App

Eligibility: You must be at least 13 years old to use the App.
Account: You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and for all activities that occur under it.
Health Disclaimer: CalTrek is not a medical device. The data and insights provided (including calorie counts, BMR, and BMI) are for informational purposes only and should not replace professional medical advice. Always consult with a healthcare provider before starting any diet or exercise program.

3. User Content

You retain ownership of the data you input into the App. However, by using the AI food analysis features, you grant us a license to process your inputs to provide the service.

4. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to:

Use the App for any illegal purpose.
Attempt to reverse engineer or decompile the App.
Harass or harm other users.

5. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your access to the App immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason whatsoever, including without limitation if you breach the Terms.

6. Limitation of Liability

In no event shall CalTrek, nor its developers, be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, including without limitation, loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from your access to or use of or inability to access or use the App.

7. Changes

We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms at any time. We will try to provide at least 30 days' notice prior to any new terms taking effect.
