Delete Your CalTrek Account

We respect your right to control your personal data. This page explains how you can request deletion of your CalTrek account and associated data.

⚠️ Important: Account deletion is permanent and cannot be undone. All your data will be permanently removed from our servers.

How to Delete Your Account

You can delete your account directly within the CalTrek app by following these steps:

Your account and all associated data will be deleted immediately.

If you are unable to access the app, you can request account deletion by emailing us at:

Please include the email address associated with your CalTrek account. We will process your request within 30 days.

Account Information	Deleted Immediately	Name, email, profile picture
Personal Details	Deleted Immediately	Height, weight, age, gender, goals
Meal History	Deleted Immediately	All logged meals, food scans, and nutrition data
Health Data	Deleted Immediately	Steps, calories burned, weight history, progress data
Preferences & Settings	Deleted Immediately	Notification settings, theme preferences, language
Anonymous Analytics	Retained (Anonymized)	Aggregated, non-identifiable usage statistics may be retained for service improvement

Cloud Data (Firebase): Deleted immediately upon account deletion.
Local Data: Deleted from your device immediately. If you reinstall the app, no previous data will be recovered.
Backup Systems: Data may persist in encrypted backups for up to 30 days before being permanently purged.

CalTrek integrates with the following third-party services. Deleting your CalTrek account does not automatically delete data from these services:

Google Account: Your Google account remains unaffected. You can manage your Google data at myaccount.google.com.
Health Connect: Data synced to Health Connect is managed by Android. You can delete this data in your device's Health Connect settings.
